"Things that get you into more of your own self-knowing in times of unpredictably is a wise way to still grow regardless."
I read a sign that noted their meaning of Muse is a Woman or a force. So, it makes sense that there is an understanding of wanting to get it together amongst us. A wave of panel platforms and converging of many collaborative co-ed and all sexuality types have forged and a lot of us are here for it. Be inspired to attend and experience these spaces of thoughts and… actions. Things that get you into more of your own self-knowing in times of unpredictably is a wise way to still grow regardless. Self-care techniques are on the rise in micro and macro ways and most effectively should steer toward being uncomfortable (as we all are now anyway, involuntarily).
Put that budget together, that you have been meaning to do since you had a sense that check to check is never a flex. Take those classes and obtain the certification or degree so you can afford yourself the options you feel inadequate about not having. Yes, intermittent fasting does work and your wish to lose weight and be healthier for yourself and your family is a goal – if attained, that will make you feel awesome. Reevaluate your connections and relationships because actually it is your valuable time you’re putting into them. Strengthen your spirituality with the Universe, God, whomever is your source. Whatever you’ve wanted to do that puts fear in your heart, doubt in your mind – assess and address it. There is an app, group chat or someone who has been there that is waiting to help and support you.
At the fruit stand, at a gynecologist appointment, on the ferry, at work, a PTA meeting and it even comes up while withdrawing money from the bank… This presidential election has the full immersion, emotion and attention of us all – in some way. While politics, religion and matters of sexuality are all touchy topics either avoided or spoken about in a matter-of-fact way, the uncertainty is heavy. Bigger than the hope that surrounded Obama, at some point any self-questioning doubts about what we really feel as individuals, about who we are, who we love, our finances and more importantly – our bodies and the bodies of loved ones is here and now. Still, our lifestyles don’t stop and our yearn for a new, better normal can be felt collectively.
Regardless of our individual beliefs or stances, a new reality is on the brink or emergence and what the next four years will look like means something different for everyone. Whether your recent state of mind has been of anxiety and worry or hope and being encouraged -there are things that can be done to quell any unease or effectively support your active state of “yes” in the meantime. Products, practices and possibilities have been innovated and created for almost all versions of the status quo. Beyond watching every single minute of election updates or personally self-questioning on what’s real and …matters – it must still be kept in mind that after the dust settles, we all have to be able to forge forward.
Undeniably, lifestyles of differences won’t change and how one successfully navigates change is via their ability to anticipate it and also adapt.
