Here we are again, Donald Trump is running for President (sigh), spewing the same divisive, misogynist rhetoric. The difference this time is, Trump has told us he intends to be a dictator, and Project 2025 is in full throttle.

The evidence of this in front of our faces. We had a coup attempt on our government on January 6, 2021, led by his supporters. The Supreme Court reversed its position on Roe v. Wade and has more recently, given ALL acting Presidents immunity from criminal prosecution (how would we remove a President for acts of treason or anything else?). One of our Supreme Court Justices (Alito) flew a flag at his home in support of the January 6th coup attempt and another (Thomas) is married to a former director of the organization that formulated Project 2025, The Heritage Foundation. What more motivation does the American Citizen need to vote to save our country? I don’t know, but I am motivated, and in November we have an opportunity to make our voices heard.

A vote against Trump is a vote against Project 2025, a vote against bigotry, a vote against incompetence and a vote against the same old leadership. In contrast, a vote for Kamala Harris is a vote for democracy, a vote for experience and a vote for new, young leadership. A vote for Kamala is a vote for a New America, one that reflects a new generation, one of tolerance, acceptance, patriotism and a shared goal of enacting progress.

My hope is that we will take off our blinders and do what is needed this election year. Our freedom as we know it is on the line.
